Moonlight Film festival (MFF) is an annual film festival celebrated alongside the Nigeria Week, happening in London United Kingdom. Its in its second edition this year as it stands as a dynamic platform dedicated to fostering and championing the works of emerging and already established filmmakers in Nollywood, locally and internationally, bringing their works and craft under one roof, with international audience cutting across multi cultural film makers themselves, lovers, industry key players and investors that seek to partner, collaborate and invest in films on a global scale.
MFF under the Nigerian week platform distinguishes itself by screening premieres of both national and international feature films, and short films thereby enriching the cinematic experience for attendees and partners in London
This cinematic endeavour is driven by a passionate team, striving to provide emerging filmmakers access to influential figures in the industry, both on a national and global scale.

Objectives For 2024 Edition:

  1. Projecting Nigerian Films on a global stage of diverse audience and personalities.

  2. Fostering Eco-Friendly Film Collaborations between Nollywood and the diaspora.

  3. An avenue to network and exchange cultural ideals that leads to research and new methods to film production.

  4. To market and export the Nigeran story and ingenious mindset to western investors and producers.

 To be eligible for consideration, all submissions must meet the following requirements:

  • Films must be in their original language; if the original language is not English, subtitles in English must be provided.
  • Feature and Short Films made between 1st January, 2023 to 31st December, 2024 are eligible.
  • The total runtime for short films including opening and closing credits should be a minimum of 1 minute and a maximum of 50 minutes and for feature films should be a minimum of 1 minutes to maximum of 120 minutes.

 24TH OF MAY 2024 FILM SUBMISSION OPENS.

 14TH OF JUNE 2024 FILM SUBMISSION CLOSES.
