The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has congratulated the Super Eagles of Nigeria for their victory over the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in the semi-final stage of the ongoing African Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The Super Eagles defeated South Africa 4-2 on penalties after a 1-1 score line in regulation time. “I heartily congratulate our darling Super Eagles for their victory over the Bafana Bafana of South Africa. “The Super Eagles were a better team, displaying formidable skills, resilience, strength and determination throughout the match, securing a ticket to the finals of the competition after their 4-2 score line on penalties.
