The Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shuaibu, has been impeached by the State House of Assembly on grounds of alleged gross misconduct.The impeachment proceedings, which commenced earlier today, culminated in a majority vote by members of the assembly in favor of removing Shuaibu from office.
